NEW spare ribs at Kim’s food Posted: 22/08/11

In June, Kim’s Food launched a new product: meaty spare ribs! This product has been requested by many of our customers for a long time, and we have finally been able to launch it after several years of research and development. ‘It has taken us a very long time simply because we were not satisfied with the quality’, said Helen (Managing Director at Kim’s Food). ‘The biggest challenge for this product is sourcing. There are many spare ribs in the market, but not all are suitable for our production line. Our new spare ribs are phenomenal – there is just the right amount of meat connecting to the bone, ideal for our cooking processes to create a final product of very high standards, making them very juicy and tender. There’s nothing like it in the market!’

The new spare ribs are certainly not just for the Oriental food market. One of the key aims for Kim’s Food in the coming years is to diversify and expand into a wider range of cuisines in the food sector. Spare ribs are the perfect product, as barbecued ribs are one of the favourites in pubs and bars across the UK, and Kim’s Food is very keen on working with new customers for this market.
